KW Suspension coilover or springs

Howya all,

I was looking at Bilsteins last night B6 ones anyone have any experience with these shocks?? I can get Koni cheap enough I would imagine. What are they like?? I was going to mate them wit H&R springs or KW if they make springs for my car.

And where did ye get them from?? As I was going to get them from the shop Alfisti site.

Anyone have anything other experiences?? Or should I go with coilovers as I can get Variant 2's for 1000 euro delvered? I can get them from Demon Tweeks.

I have KW v.2 on my car i think they are great. They are pretty comfy in the city but yet stiff enough when they have too. And if you want to go for that slammed look they will defently do the job ;)

if you've got the money, go for a full coilover set, rather than a simple shock and spring, you'll have adjustment, meaning you can really set the car up for how you use it.

If you go for a basic shock and spring, your stuffed with it being like it is.

Thank you for all the posts:D I think I will go for the coilover set up aswell seen as it is only 200 euro more than just the shocks and springs.

Roads in Ireland are crap but I will lower it somewhat to my tastes I am thinking.

surely with coilovers though you may be able to adjust damping and spring rate, aswell as the preload, so you can get it to suit the roads? summat you wouldnt be able to do with a standard shock and spring lowering package

Ahh you can do that on the Variant 2's which is why I think they are the roght choice for myself so once I know the car is 100% I will get them.
