325i vs CTR
Can someone give me the figures of the CTR?
I had a bit of a race with one yesterday and it did not seem to be able to make a move on my car! Are they similar?
He could not overtake me and i could not really get away either. We seemed pretty much on the level.
I am interested to know.

CTR is slower after higher speeds(>160 km/h), but is very well if you think that is a FWD and the 325 a RWD!

I dont think the RWD vs FWD really comes into this as we were already rolling when we set off racing.
That would only be a factor should we have been starting from a stand still
And yeah i would love some real world knowledge of these cars, what they are like to drive etc.

I have owned an CTR -04 but it was a little bit tuned (~220hk) and my car had no problems to stay close to an 330i (231hk) or even pull away a bit.
Tryed an M3 E46 also but I didnt even see what had hit me before he was waaay ahead of me =)

The 328 and the CTR is much more closer in performance. Drivers race...
And if you have the 328is you're probably walking him from the line. With a quarter mile time at 14,7 the CTR is far behind.

If you have 200hp in your car its a close call and the best driver will winn a little bit.
But 325 does not have 192hp original? its 328 that has 192hp, or have I got it wrong (again)?

325: 192 hp
328: 193 hp (restricted via the manifold and airbox, with the 325 manifold and CAI the 328 has around 210-220 hp). The 328 has a 0-100 km/h time of 7,2 sec while the 325 has a time of 8 sek. 1 hp difference, yeah right :)
