Peugeot 205 Twin Turbo Project (Help Needed)
Hi All.
This is my 1st post here.
I own a 1988 peugeot 205 xs, well thats what she started life as.
She now has a peugeot 205 1.9 Turbo Technics engine.
Engine Details
Fully lightened and balanced bottom end inc fly wheel and pressure plate
down to the bolts.
Mi16 Crank
Mi16 Flywheel
Group N Helix Clutch
All new bottom end bearings
New Con Rod bolts.
New water pump.
New piston rings.
Mi16 Piston liners.
TT Machined 8v pistons.
High Flow Heads Stage 3.5 Cylinder head, ported and flowed Combustion chamber enlarged to lower compression further to 8.25:1.
Spesso Carbon / Kevlar race speck head gasket (1.6mm).
Ported TT exhaust manifold.
New Turbo Technics Hybrid Turbo inc 360 Roller bearing.
The standard Peugeot 205 XS 1.4 engines run's aprox 85BHP.
The standard Peugeot 205 1.9 GTi engine run's aprox 130BHP.
The Peugeot 205 1.9 Turbo Technics conversion run's aprox 175BHP @ 0.65bar.
The Turbo Technics T25 turbocharger is fitted with a Low/High boost valve, so you can select (High 0.65bar) or (Low 0.32Bar) of Boost.
I am no longer running the standard 205 ECU & AFM, I am running a DIY ECU called MegaSquirt.
My aim was to run this turbo at (Low 0.5bar) & (High 1.0bar), But as this is still quite a small sized turbo I think I would be pushing the turbo to hard.
So the idea is now to run two Turbo Technics T2 or T25 turbos, set-to (Low 0.25bar) & (High 0.5bar) each, witch will still give me my wanted 0.5 & 1.0bar of boost, with less strain on the turbo(s).
The aim of this is to try and get 250+BHP.
Any help and or advise would be grate.
Thanks for your time.
