So, since im changing jobs i lose my company car - a 2005 focus TDCi Ghia- nice but boring

so today we bought a new car

a brand new (but pre-registered 06 plate) Chevy Kalos GT

its a limited edition with only 10 made by car sellers Brindley. So its not a factory car, but an aftermarket ltd edition.

Its got one off red and black leather with Chevrolet gold badges embroided into the seat backs. 40mm lowered suspension. 15" Team Dynamics multispoke rims in white. Toyo Proxy T1-S 195/50 15 tyres and a blaupunkt uprated install. and of course Shelby style GT graphics.

Im going to be colour coding the door handles, wingmirrors and side rub strips very soon!

Oh, and the rear windows will be getting tinted through a proper 'glass out' job through a guy i know :D

The engine is a puny 1.2 with 75bhp, but eventually i will chip it, along with an exhaust, filter and white roll cage. and a brembo brake set up.

Plus i have a 600cc kawasaki with 105bhp to go quick on :D

EDIT: just noticed the Vauxhall/opel Heater controls! Good ole GM eh! Looks great though!

Leather door cards to match seats
COlour coded dash
Clear side repeaters
White painted side strips, mirrors and door handles
Tinted windows

and thats about it for now without affecting my warranty!

Plus think ive found a great numberplate for it

in England - new cars are registered as 2 letters, then 01,51,02,52,03,

up to the current 07

an 0- means the car was sold at the first half of the year
a 5- means it was sold after july 1st of that year

for instance

AW53 SKN - would be a car sold in the last half of 2003 and SKN is the wolverhampton code

my Focus is SM05 NDL - being sold in the first half of 2005 and NDL - Edinborough - Scotland Code

unfortunatly we cannot have anything we like, as Sweden does

i met a Norwegian at the ring who insured and registered his BMW as sewdish, meaning he could have the ace numberplate - M3 CSL

i did have a private plate on my rover that was cool
