Clarkson Uses Corvette to bring peace to Iraq

I found this in a paper, so i thought i would share it with you, it made me laugh! :) Good Old Jeremy Clarkson!

SOME say that the cost of keeping the peace in Saddam's former back yard is already in excess of £1'000Billion. And what's been acheived? Not much to be honest...

This is because hot headed political activists are arriving in the country and winning the hearts and minds of ordinary people who don't much like having tanks in their back garden. Plainly then we have to win their hearts and minds back again. And i can think of no better way than giving everyone in Iraq a Nice new CAR

Maths was never my strong point, but if you divide the cost of the war by the 26Million people who live in Iraq, it works out at about £38'000 each.

So pull everyone in the country a brand new Chevrolet Corvette! This is a brilliant plan because then when the political activists say "join us, we will give you an AK47", everyone will say: "Why would i want a crummy gun, when the Americans just gave me this juicy muscle car?"

General Motors is also on the brink of collapse right now, but an order from the US government for 26Million Corvettes would soon sort that out!

The man had plans for Afhanistan including Helicopters, and wanted to give everyone in North Korea an iPod, but they were not as funny as the Iraq one..

I say good on him for lightening the situation a small bit.
