Chevrolet has stuck more to the spirit of WTCC regulations than the letter with this Ultra ‘racecar study’.

These renderings give an idea of Chevy’s concept, which was developed by a global GM team and to be shown at Paris in three weeks’ time.

The Ultra has a 187bhp 1.9-litre engine - so it will probably be a little slower than your average WTCC car, but it looks pretty quick.

Aerodynamics don't look great either.
