Remember the Mitsubishi Evo X concept? Here's proof that the firm's designers are still working on the fine detail.

Caught during an open day at Mitsubishi's European Design Centre in Frankfurt and leaked on a Mitsubishi enthusiasts' web forum, this scale model shows where the Japanese manufacturer is going with the next generation of the Evo legend.

The model is clearly based on the Evo X, which first appeared at last year's Tokyo motor show. But its rear wing looks very much like standard World Rally Car specification, so this could be a design study of Mitsubishi's next rally car. The spoiler certainly looks larger than any aerodynamic aids seen on the test cars caught recently but given the Evo's rally-bred heritage, we wouldn't be surprised to see the road cars adopting the same

Personally i think its very ugly!

Hmmm from the back it doesn't look too bad, infact I actually quite like it.

The front however looks like they've attached a 'dust buster' to it. You could stand it on its nose and vacuum your house. Not impressed.

However you can pretty much guarentee it'll be a sorted car when it goes into production.

yeah thats what I thought, its got to look better then that, and are propbably just throwning people off a bit. The rear end looks 'Alfa Romeo', to me, and i like the front lights too ..

I think its a neat car, though it has absolutely no "rally" about it, atleast not compared to all the older versions!

Wow..That looks hella sweet...the old evos where quite simular to eachother and some ppl think why change a winnikng concept..THIS IS THE REASON! This seems so agressive I just L O V E it!

The front looks like a weird crossing between Aston Martin and Audi.
Anda the rear reminds me of an Alfa Romeo 156.

I just love Audi, Aston Martin and Alfa Romeo, but if you put the together... nja its ugly.
