A Maserati kind of Corsa

Maserati has perhaps made the ultimate trackday car with this MC12 Corsa. Just twelve will be made but they will not be raced or made legal for road use.
Maserati plans to use them for its own promotional purposes and for clients who wish to drive on the track 'in the most exclusive gentlemen drivers' environment'.
They will certainly be rich gentlemen drivers - the car is to cost one million euros before tax.
Performance should be explosive: in place of the 622bhp pf the road-going car the Corsa offers 755bhp at 8000rpm. The road-going car's dry weight of 1335kg, complete with the strengthening for its removable roof, is slashed for the Corsa to 1150kg.
