Nottingham Street Rcaing

Been trying for a couple of months now to find out about street racing going on in the nottingham area.
Finaly managed to last week and have headed down.

first week not much to report, few corsa's, saxos, clio etc nothing special.
This sunday was a whole different ball game, weather was clear, bank holiday next day and boy did the crowds turn up.

Got there about half nine, not alot going on but cars soon started apearing. Few scoobs rolled in, Leon cupra, then a american pickup running 500bhp in a big block v8 rolled up, let hte fun and games begin.

Few rounds of leon vs scoob sti8, scoob won on the whole but only just cos the guy couldn't launch for toffee.

then truck pulls up agaist the leon, truck does a burn out, and then there off, leon wins, surprisingly. pickup is too heavy and take for ever to get going.

Next round leon vs rover 600, leon takes it, but not by alot

mx 5 vs rover 600, mx wins by a way

leon vs escort cab, leon take is easily

Then roll up the leon driver and star mouthing off about beating the mx 5, perhaps i should explain a bit about the mx5, its owned by a mate of mine called mark, what you can't tell from the outside is the fact it has a little surprise hiding under the bonnnet in the form of a turbo :)

so here we have it mx vs leon, line up and screeching tyres there off, from the line the mx5 has it, by the time there changing to second the mx5 is ten foot ahead, and crunch the leon misses the gear change from first to second, but by that time it was all over.

noticed after that he parks at the back and doesn't race again pmsl

good night out, very funny to see a scooter beat the truck as well pmsl

haha sounds like a good night out, i think i will have to make an appearance some time.

I love it when people mouth of about cars, and the clearly cant drive them :)

was so funny though, big mouth and then gets spanked, couldn't bleive how quick that scooter was though, was also funny watching him trying to keep the front wheel down

I was once offered to race for logbooks and even though my car was quicker i was not going to cgance it, anything could go wrong. This set up i dont mind though.

Might have someone else in an S14 interested in a bit of a play too ... maybe ;)
