Alpina angine information?

I need some information about an engine i have coming soon. I was going to do this project a while ago for my normal everyday car, but the fuel costs would be silly. Now though i may have chance to do myself a company demo car, as i may be opening an engine workshop.

Its an Alpina 3.5cc engine which is from a 5 series Alpina. The engine has been bored out to 3.9cc, with pistons to match, and has been running as that

The problem is that the ECU is missing, and all the wiring in the car is totally ruined. I was thinking about making a mainfold, and running this engine on a big carb, with the turbo i had already got for the 2.0 engine i am already building.

I need to know some thoughts about ..

1) what the 3.5 Alpina stock bhp is?

2) what it could be after its bored out to 3.9litre

3) what sort of bhp would Turbocharging give?

Any ideas, thoughts or suggestions would be good. This would have to run on a carb remember, and i dont want to superchange it.

218bhp standard

sooooo im guessing

218/3.5 = 62 x 3.9 = approx 242bhp im guessing although the 3.5 M5 E28 had 315bhp as standard with the later 3.8 developing 340bhp

turboing a 3.9 straight six will add imo around 100bhp

so say a reliable 340bhp from your unknown alipna lump

carbing and ditching any loom you have left, say a big holley V8 carb im guessing around 375bhp

get it in an E30 with standard looks and you will be laughing
