car sounds like a mouse at the min, squeeking when i'm driving, 99% sure its from the brakes so fingers crossed not a mega expence to sort.

no mate, hot weather can see the boost pressure is way down on the gauge, just cos of air temp, runs max norm about 1.4 bar of the defi, now it hits about 1.1 ish then sometimes up to 1.2
