Nah I think Alf Hansson with the GTO is still the fastest, there is always a discussion on what is road legal and what's not. But I would say that the GTO is probably if not the fastest still in the top.

If this converstion took place in the Swedish section this thread would consist of 25 pages of different oppinions

nah, its only doing 10 second quarters john

the quickest is the calibra i was on about. full chevy V8 Nos conversion, about 10 litres.

jap crap is not as quick as the torque of the american muscle!!! you have to spend 10 times on jap crap what you would spend on a chevy (etc) V8 lump to get the same sought of times

look at the old 2.5 tonne yank tanks, running 10 second quarters with around 600bhp and there just tuned up V8s. the serious nitrous aided 8+ litre V8s can develop huuge 1500bhp + powers!

this is why on zatzy we have a forum just for V8s - CCs and torque are always going to be a great start

As you can see most of them are from over there, there is one or two that are incorrect but most of them are honest times
