Bought a t-shirt at the Gatebil fest up in Norway two weeks ago. It was a t-shirt in remembrance of just that car. Great motorfestival by the way. Norwegians are awesome at arranging carshows like gatebil.

Went off track at Gatebils event in Kristiansand this summer. Unfortiunately, the track was a very narrow winter driving (glattkjøring) track so he ended up pretty far into the woods.

The car was in a sorry state when he bought it, and could perhaps be salvaged as is now, but the owner is not going to. The cage is bent, frame bent and roof pushed in. Luckily, the engine and driveline is intact - so it might end up in some other car later on. The owner already has a built Sierra Coswoth he wnted to transfe the Escort driveline into when he originally bought it... ;)

Hopefully he will rebuild it since that car is still a classic and also a beauty :)

rom what I have heard he is keeping the engine but the body and everything else is in way too bad shape a lot of magnesium which is hard to fix
