Hortex51 - Nissan 200sx S13 with 2.2T 20v audi engine
Hi,
I would like to share with you with my latest project, that has been finished recently.
It's a 200sx S13 model with a 2.2T 20V Audi engine. Originally it came of an S2, but has been modified with AAN head, 7A crankshaft, 7A cams.
Engine has been rebuilt using original components and some aftermarket ones:
- Scat conrods,
- 3B pistons machined for lower compression,
- Head complete rebuild - only 7A camshafts went in, no other mods,
- Glyco Sputter main and rods bearings,
- head studs from 2,5TDI V6, 12mm,
- new oil pump from 2,5TDI R5 - modified,
- all seals are new,
Gearbox is an M90H2 Getrag from Volvo 940 diesel. Clutch is a hybrid volvo/audi with strenghtened pressure plate - really really strong... had to train in the gym to be able to operate - no kidding. It is driven by a brake pump ;]
As for bolt-ons:
- custom made Plenum,
- custom made exhaust manifold,
- HX35 with 12cm housing, int. wastegated (bored out),
Fuel:
- Bosch 044,
- 630cc injectors,
- FPR - don't remember the brand,
- using V-Power Racing 99 octane,
Vems as management system.
+ car itself is fully modified.
This project has been a real pain in the a$$ for over a year. I've decided to play with 2.2T after killing my 368HP CA18DET. But finally it came to an end, and it was worth it ;)

BTW, what is the average Nm range in 2.2T on 1.8bar, cause I think we made quite a nice score on that one??

dzieki, dzieki! Guzior sie spisal. Takiego momentu na tym silniku przy takim doladowaniu chyba jeszcze nikt nie uzyskal ;)

Didn't have time to measure the 0-100 or 1/4 times. All I can say right now, is that 2nd gear ends at 120kmh. No traction on 1st whatsoever.

Hard to tell. On prevoius setup we had 518hk/730Nm @ 2 bar with machined stock pistons. Now there are JE 82,5mm, 8,5:1 with boost at 1,8 bar all the way till 7k rpm and it's way more stable thanks to external wastegate.
We will dyno the car somewhere end of next week, hopefully.
