new car time!

got hold of a October 2002 MCC Smart car with face lift in black.

its a bit grotty but mechanicaly good with full history and low miles.

Its a black body and black panels.

The plans

obviously the smarts a girls car, so lets make it a bit tougher.

Bodywork

Big bodykits and lairy paint are out. Sleek and dark is in.

Tinted windows
Satin black steel rims with red rim tape
Gis graphics in silver
Debadgedc
olour coded skirts and lips
deep touring car strip

and thats about it externally! simple and dark. moody even.

Engine

Its never going to win a street race, but lets play around here,

Dump valve - essential on a turbod car
Chip
Air filter
engine breather pipe

Interior

This cars going to sit in a lot of traffic, so entertainment is paramount

Audio

Kenwood Flip out tv/dvd/mp3/cd
2nd screen within glovebox for passenger
Boston Audio compenents
JL audio 10" sub

Others

Full sound deadened throughout, might aswell make it comfy!

I used to know someone with one of these from new, actually traveled to wales in it quite a few times .. was actually fapping great on the M-Way if not a little daunting!

Got a 16v Turbo window sticker from Halfrauds and took the '1' off..

Thickos didn't get the 6v Turbo joke, mush have thought it was powered by holes in the floor and our feet!

amps and speakers all ready to go in

just gotta pick up the window tint now and rim tape and im ready for its collection!

bandit is all in bits also - two projects on the go are a bad idea!

Theres a OPel Roadster on here aka VX220

its called bastard and has paint (well vinyl) very similar to that - might be an option!

Also coming soon - German plates for my smart :D

Which i need a name for!

Hej, it´s a small world! That guy contacted me on the VX220 forum and asked me if it was ok to use the vinyl design from my car. Of course it was! Here is the "original" Bastard!

slight change of plan

cars being delayed another week because of the garage not sorting it in time

in good news they are spraying the wheels gloss black for me, ovenbaked so they dont chip :D

its had new brakes, discs and pads, and new continental tyres! for free! cant complain at that

german plates are on their way from germany via Marcel! (waanspeed!!!) and 2nd screen is now in my possesion

yes its a small car, but you can never have too many tvs!

i have no idea where the amp, dvd unit, sub or all the wirings going to go yet! might have to add it into the roof area at some point

also thinking of bodywork ideas

im tooing and froing with the iea of painting the front panel blood red with metal flake to bring some colour to the car

im also thinking about audi tt leather seats with retro fit heated harnesses

got hold of a vinyl cutter to make some custom logos such as these

lets make smarts evil :D
