200 MPH Club for my RS4???

Right guys,

The gearbox had to come out to fix the 4th gear syncro, at the same time I am fitting a new, longer, 6th gear ...

With the old 6th gear, my theoretical top speed was 191 MPH @ 7200 RPM with the current wheels etc,

With the new setup, top speed @ 7200 RPM in theory will be 217MPH.

Now, obviously that speed is not going to happen with my current HP, which is 452 WHP.

I know of an Avant RS4 B5 that did 202 MPH with 5 people in the car, and he has 471 WHP.

So, put your guesses in for my top speed!!! I will of couse be videoing it with the GPS overlay, which records down to 0.1 of a MPH

you should be able to hit at least 170mph on the final straight after dottinger hohe on the ring in a few weeks ;)

i hit 160mph on the bike (flat out) and ive been in a 400bhp supra that managed 170mph down there

It's funny that you mentioned about OIL on an RS4. I don't know how it is on your car but on the B7 RS4 that i owned the oil had to flow in rivers to keep things working :))

I had a B7 RS4 before I got my B5 RS4. The B5 does not consume as much oil as the B7. With the B7 I had to fill about 1 litre/100.000 km.

wow, very nice! TIme for bigger turbos or just more boost (I don't know what stock rs4 turbos are capable of).

I have KO4 (stock turbos) with RS6 compressors on them, good for about 1.9bar down to 1.6ish at redline (7k).

No more turbo's just yet! But my plan is to upgrade most of the internals of the engine during the winter in preperation for large turbo's, I suspect some Garretts this time ...

Fired her up, all running sweet, computers says all good :D
