Well, some of you might remember me babbeling about my oilburning, bad-ass smelling piece of shit Audi called 80 Avant TDi.

Well, you also might remember that I said that it will probably not stay original for too long.

Uhm... I kind of hit my head yesterday...

My POS Audi:

My POS 90hp 1.9l inline-4 2v/cyl and Turbo Diesel Injection:

But wait, what's this? My Garrett GT1372 VNT Turbo, good for 1.3 Bar for a longer time. Completly new, never mounted on an engine:

And some more goodies =)

Here's my upcoming setup of gauges:
Boost
Oiltemp
And Oilpressure

And here's my bleeder-valve for adjusting the boost:

Besides this I'll order some other things when my sallary comes in next week.
Need a new alternator belt, some gaskets and things for my injection pump, some other minor parts and things.

I'll also order some paint so I can fix the little amount of rust that there is, and to paint some details on the car like the black parts on the bumpers.

In the future the car will be lowered, and I might buy myself a new set of rims ;)

Im thinking of tinting the front side-windows a little bit to.

Did I say this project went off rails? =D

hehe its nice to see modifications, who can really keep a car stock for long. Deffinatly not me either ;)

That VNT turbo is Variable Vane like a VVT??

I agree totaly...
Great car but you fall asleep between 0-60 MPH :P
Not to mention above that...

Car has great comfort and quite good road handling concidering the weight, size and suspension on the car.

I would concentrate on that then matey (suspension and brakes)

If its slow to get going, just make sure you dont have to slow down once you do get it moving ;)

I know that the springs are some reinforced types, and the shockabsorbers are pretty good to. Just need to lower the centre of weight and get hold of some rims and tyres with smaller profile.

Don't know if the brakes har original, plenty of stopping power there by some strange reason =)

I don't know if they are...
Oh well, guess I could spend a few 100kr on the mounting bracket even if the gauges don't fit :P

nice seeing you´re finaly getting somewhere with your audi, when you´ve fixed it so it runs all you have to do is get your drivers license.
