Yeah I know what you mean but these videos are good for people to learn the track.

Very wrong.

you cant leanr the track from a video or game.

BUT
what you can do is get some idea of whats coming up next

left or right

thats about it.

a guy i know, knows the track inside out, he holds the world record for production bike round the BTG time - 7.28.

If you listen to him, thats how you learn

surface changes
damp patches
kerbs to use
kerbs not to use
trailing brakes
turn in points
apex points
gear on points

cant learn any of that off a video.

The videos give you a greater idea over the xbox/ps but thats my thoughts on it. I have been there many many times and the consoles don't help if you dont know the track.

1st = Go there and learn it 1st hand
2nd = watch videos for different lines and refresh brain
3rd consoles for fun and to try out new things

Well i watched it all and enjoyed the different angle actually!

God though that Rover had the wobbles and leaning well rehearsed, it was like
watching a boat with that suspension. Great video though, what engine did the
Rover have, as it seemed to go quite well? Is it the 2.0 turbo (200hp), 620Ti engine?

EDIT: i mean the same engine, not thats its transplanted from a 620*

Thanks for posting

You can’t just watch videos/play games and expect to know the car. You need to go there 1st then have 10-20 laps driving the track. Once you come home you can then use the time watching videos and playing games to keep the brain refreshed.

1st = Go there and learn it 1st hand

so thats at least 50 laps just to learn which way the track goes

or even more.... Anyway we have to admit that Ring videos are a lot more accurate than some PC games!
