I could not say which one it was unfortunately, but it got the better of me to start with.
And there is another major problem in this case and also in the CTR thread. The race wasn't "organised"; i mean that since you don't know the driver is hard to say if he hit the throttle to the maximum or maybe let you pass. I think you know what i mean...
Yeah i do know what you mean - and its a good point.
If i was just speeding up past cars and then overtaking them and claiming it to be a race then your point would be fair. Its not like i passed him parked up and then claimed to have beaten him in a race. You can clearly see him going for it. You can see in the video that when chasing this Audi he was not slowing down for anyone and did not slow to let me past. He simply moved over.
I know by the fact that the Audi remained close to me all the way down several more roads and the fact that he tried once again to pass me that he was in fact racing. This was the same with the CTR (except i had no-one in the car to film it).
Its a bit like this in the UK, there are not as many organized street races as i would personally like and even when they are happening, they are so secret its unreal. We do tend to just notice someone else also up for a quick blast and go for it.
This time it was a struggle for power up that hill.. the Audi ran out.. simple as that
I hope you know what i mean... and i would LOVE an organised street race with this car!

If you race with a avant you have chances of beating him! Still, with a limousine version, 220 hp engine and quattro from standstill your chances of beating him are almost 0....
I was not making assumptions as i don't know one Audi from another, but if it says A4 i generally take it as such. Obviously providing it had the correct badge on that is :)
Saying that even a 200hp car (turbocharged or not) is a good thing to have a bash at. I have found that quite a few people watching that video have been in disbelief that i could have maybe pulled it off, but i don't see why. Things like its not an A4, it does not have that much power or he must have pulled over etc..
The car was racing, he did move over because he ran out of steam .. we were into the triple figure speeds up a huge hill and i beat him.. maybe he was out of usable torque at the end of the curve at the end of the rev range, maybe he was just a shit driver .. who knows!
You can see he shoots off at first (turbo) and you can see i catch him up.
If it was not an A4 - then fine, but thats what it said on the back.
BTW you have a nice car - fancy a race? :)

I watched the movie one more time, and i can tell you that, that is an Audi A3 Sportback! 200hp engine. Yeah sure we can have a race :) never say no to one! ;) I have driven agains bmw 325 e36, and 330 e46 and never gone home as a looser. But it´s very mutch up to the driver :)
Ps. Henrik I hope you mean A3 sportback and not a A4 sportback ;)
