also 2 mins 5 seconds in is the corner i mashed my gearbox, and the road going to the right into a field at 2.15 is the escape road i ended up stopping in

The Police are very relaxed and great over here, as long as you’re not being silly it’s not a problem. The main problem is some locals who do not like speed, and are always eager to call the police to report you, plus they always like to juice it up with some fibs!

In general tho, everyone knows the mountain is a fast road, especially around this time of year with the TT coming up...

This mountain road is going to be one way for two weeks over TT, so no need to worry about oncoming traffic anymore! That should make for some interesting footage!!!

PS. I am not sure about the bikers, I recon there is a possibility they were learning the bikes, or even learning the road, i.e., maybe German Police over to help with the TT??

@tidgy, you were so lucky with escape road there, I would hate to be stuck up the mountain in a broken car, esp if night was coming, which I think you said it was!!

lol, my dad has a hayabusa ( he was telling me the other day about how he couldnt make up his mind to overtake a police bike on the mountain) but he bit the bullet and went past it at 130mph :D
