06 Mustang with LSX motor

I don't know how it is over there on your side of the pond guys, but here in the states, there has been a never-ending battle between fFord & GM "guys". I don't know how it started but they are always raggin on each other, calling mustangs rustangs and camaros mullet equipped riders. In this video, they drop a LSX motor into the new mustang. An lsx motor is a gm motor, widely used in the corvettes, camaros, pontiac gto's, trailblazer SS. This motor comes in different revisions, which started with the introduction of the 1997 corvette, it has evolved since then into the ls2 when the 2005 corvette was introduced and is in the new z06 as a ls7, it basically is the new generation all aluminum gm small block, which in this case isn't labeled as neither 1,2,7 due to its basic being. Dropping a motor like this is also like sacrilege between both ford/gm worlds. But here it is, like it or not......

I personally think it is a great compromise if you want a retro looking camaro (which wont be out till 08-09) and want proper gm power, this is the next best thing.

wow that was starting to look really good to watch, but its not too long. I would love to see any other episodes if you know of them, so i can see it develop

In the UK we have always had a vauxhall (GM) and Ford battle going, but i dont know how serious the guys are. I think we just end up with loyal followings of both groups.. graphics on the back of cars like this "I'd rather push a Ford, then drive a Vauxhall", are common.

Although i have had some cars from both companies, I love Ford myself!!
