THis is a coupel months old but everyone should see this video if they haven't. Ams is a known dsm tuner which turned to evos a couple years ago when we finally started getting them here in the states. 988 AWHP FTW! I think they clicked off a lil more than 1000 by now though

hope you checked out the 2nd vid, thats 1041 awhp, thats just insance, but with that kidn fo power, even an awd car strains for traction and even so, you don't have a massive powerband to use it, you hear the car hitting full boost and they let off almost a second later, means that gigantic gt45r turbo must be hitting full boost like at 6k rpms.

Yeah its deffintly got a very late peak, and a very sharp one too.
imagine having that peak at 3000rpm and then the band level off until the rev limiter .. now that would be an insane car to drive, and very difficult to build. Yeah i checked out both vids, very very impressive!

Just as a comment,
This type of dyno run... Can it be taken seriously? I mean, having the engine under
load, when the turbo is giving proper boost, for just 1-2 seconds?
What do you compare these power figures with afterwards? 1.000 bhp's produced during
1 second? What's the point of that?

it needs to be proven on a race track
unfortunatly theres only so much useable power for track use, and dragstrips before you start needing drag tyres and parachute brakes.
at the end of a day i still reckon a 500bhp could beat this around a track! 4 wheel drive will not grip so well when theres 250bhp per wheel at 7,000 or so rpms for a tiny amount of time, bfore you need to change up and lose all the boost pressure supplied previously! the lag must be immense!

this by far isnt their circle track car, its the drag car, here is a video at the dragstrip, it is the second fastest evo8 in the U.S.A. and possibly the whole planet. Its has a 1/4 time of 8.97 which is .02 off from buschur racing's evo which went 8.95. They do have a track car which is on a smaller turbo and a strokr 2.3 litre motor making rouhgly 600hp, the drag car has a 2.0 litre revving upwards of 9k rpms.

I wouldnt be surprised if it was like:
1,000 rpms - 100 lbs
2,000 rpms - 100 lbs
3,000 rpms - 100 lbs
3,000 rpms - 100 lbs
4,000 rpms - 150 lbs
5,000 rpms - 400 lbs
6,000 rpms - 500 lbs
7,000 rpms - 650 lbs
8,000 rpms - 550 lbs
9,000 rpms - 400 lbs

torque will be lower down revs,
aka 3500rpm will prb have highest torque
and drop off alot quicker than that
