The first watercooled GT2 was released in august 2000. It was the first stock Porsche with the carbon brake PCCB. At this time the GT2 was specified with 462 hp and 620 Nm (from 3500 - 4500 min-1), by a weight of 1440kg.
In april 2003 a facelift version was released. It was endued with 483hp and 640Nm by 1420kg.
Both versions are also available as "Clubsport-Version", with a rollcage, other seats and belts and i think an extinguisher was onboard too.
A GT2 RS Version was never availiable by Porsche! It`s just an idea of Reiner L. the owner of this 996, because of the modifications to his GT2. The decalstyle is copied by the regular available GT 3 RS.
Edit:
Sorry but the aircooled 3,6l biturbo engine in the 993 has "only" 430hp.
This shown GT2 "RS" has about 550 hp! And remember, there is no PSM (Porsche Stability Managment) onboard!
