Hi all, I got the link to this site from our tuner, I just wanted to know who has the fastest street Import car in Europe. And I mean cars with stock chassi/suspension no backhalved racecars
running on methanol.
We are building a Toyota Supra MKIV that we will bring to Europe/Sweden/England on a tour and I want to know how the competition is over there, and is there any decent tracks to run on??
Drag, its useless to build a "track car"" when there is no serious competition to enter for a supra, Dragracing is huge here and we can compete internationally with very decent prizes etc.
we are deciding on what turbochargers to use just waiting for the rules in YAS MARINA CIRCUIT to be finalized, but the setup is basically:
3.0 aluminum rod motor
Twin billet 67mm turbos or Single Promod 90mm
Powerglide tranny
MoTeC M800 ECU with MoTeC CDI-8 ignition
3-stages of Nitrous
Air/Water IC
Running on 28x10.5W tires and stock IRS suspension setup
We have to run bottom 8s here to be competitive in the classes here in the Gulf area.
We are also thinking of running in the Promod classes here so we are sending our Swedish driver/tuner to Frank Hawley's School in the states to get licensed, but personally I like the street cars better :)

Is that the exact time of the SMR Supra?? Kami told me about that car and it is impressive since it was a long time ago, is that the record in Sweden/Europe?? We would love to come and
reset that record in that case :)

When the SMR Supra drove the 8,76sec time it was the european record. But I don´t know if someone else has driven faster now. As you said it was 4 years ago :-)
The car in that link will drive pretty much faster this year (i hope).
